I am Peyton Roe, a freelance audio engineer and sound designer in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. My interests lie in audio engineering, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. I am currently studying these attributes at the University of North Texas.I have worked on productions such as Hands on a Hardbody as Assistant Audio Engineer, Lead Mic Tech, and Sound Board Operator, West Side Story as Lead Audio Engineer, Sound Designer, Lead Mic Tech, and Sound Board Operator, and many other shows as a stagehand in the lighting and sound departments. I aspire to work as an audio engineer in a concert venue or recording studio. I am skilled in multiple different areas of technical theatre and will continue my education in this field.I hope to apply my knowledge in the future and provide excellent service for employers. I take pride in knowing that an employer is satisfied with my work and strive to be better than I was the day before. Every day is an opportunity to grow and I will continue to do so with each opportunity given.My passion lies in editing and creating music, but I am very adamant about doing the best job possible in any field I find myself. Working with sound has always held my interest and I often find myself becoming so intrigued with my job that I can work for hours without realizing it. Whether it be recording an artist, creating sound effects, building a sound system, or editing a song, I lose myself in my work and find new ways to love sound. Nothing has ever spoken to me the way that a manipulated sine wave has, and the endless possibilities with sound will keep my love for the field strong and well.I am also a solo artist on the side, writing, recording, and producing my own music under the name Ellipseas. My first work, Still Picture, released on May 23, 2018.
