As an Administrative Assistant at a boutique law firm based in Washington, D.C., I handle a myriad of activities including but not limited to: performing conflict checks and analyses, conducting research, coordinating schedules and meetings for members of the firm, managing recruitment tasks, balancing several projects with competing deadlines at once, billing and reconciling firm accounts, and a variety of paralegal tasks. One of the great benefits of working with a small, tight-knit law firm is that I get to wear multiple "hats" every day, which has allowed me to learn more and more about the different facets of administrative support within a law firm.During my collegiate career at Western Kentucky University, I was involved in Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Sigma Pi, the Study Abroad & Global Learning Student Representatives, and the Dynamic Leadership Institute. In the Spring Semester of 2018, I studied international business and economics at Harlaxton College in the United Kingdom. When I returned to the States, I served as a Study Abroad & Global Learning Student Representative for Western Kentucky University, wherein I promoted the benefits and opportunities of studying abroad as a university student.
