In my time at George Washington University, my love for writing, learning, and community organizing has evolved into a passion for research and education. I have used my skills as a communicator and creative thinker to leverage different digital platforms to increase access to resources and education for the DC community. I am interested in how unequal dissemination of information influences the lived conditions of certain demographics of race, gender, age, and income over others. I strongly believe in meeting people where they are with the information they deserve. Education is a human right, and institutional barriers are preventing marginalized communities from accessing the information that can lead to their advancement. My long-term goal is to become a professor and educate the next generation of learners and researchers.
