He commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Afloat Staging Base leading 50 civilian mariners and 100 Sailors. His service culminated as the first West Point graduate to Command an Aircraft Carrier, fittingly the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) where he led over 5,200 deployed Sailors, received the Navy efficiency award for the best carrier on the east coast and was recognized for the best aviation and ship team in the Navy ⚓He recently entered the Aerospace and Defense sector, managing a Quality Assurance Division for Northrop Grumman at the Huntsville Manufacturing Center, leading teams in Supplier Quality, Internal Auditing, Receiving, In Process Inspections and Quality Control.
