As a passionate biotechnology professional with a strong foundation in genetic engineering, I am driven by my determination to contribute groundbreaking research that positively impacts society. I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Liverpool, where my dissertation focused on applying cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas9 technology to develop stable knockout cell lines, particularly in understanding the molecular mechanisms behind neurodegenerative disorder - Parkinson's Disease.My expertise spans a wide array of biotechnological techniques, including molecular cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, ELISA, Western Blot, and mammalian cell culture, among others. These skills, coupled with hands-on experience in both academic and professional lab environments, have equipped me to work on the forefront of next-generation research. My current role as a Biobank Sample Consolidator has allowed me to gain experience working as a professional in a laboratory environment.In addition to my scientific endeavours, I have had diverse work experiences, from serving as a Crowd Steward for Liverpool Football Club to working as Waiting Staff for Jockey Club Catering. These roles have helped me hone my organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, making me an adaptable and efficient team player.I am determined to grow within the research community, with a dream to advance discoveries in biotechnology that will serve the greater good.
