FXCM is a leading provider of Forex, CFD trading and spreadbet services.o At FXCM I was team lead and Oracle/reporting resource for the UK On-Exchange Development team (3-4 members) reporting to the UK CTO.o In a major project replacing the UK On-Exchange platform with services provided by third party companies, I was responsible for the reporting solution to provide integrated oversight/management reports for compliance, risk and client liaison. I then provided technical and back-end support as the dashboard was extended and re-extended by the Risk department themselves.o Initially I performed a review of the On-Exchange reporting infrastructure with a view to extend existing facilities with OBIEE/Publisher. This resulted in a proof of concept implementation in the US which was well received.o My other duties included being sole UK DBA, linux administrator and providing application support to the equities business.o Oracle 9i-12c RAC; Informatica; ODI; OBIEE; PL/SQL; TOAD; Linux Admin; Bash; Python; Perl; Java; Qlikview; Jira Agile; TDD; CVS; Git.
