As a founding partner and CDO of Southern Current, Paul has overseen all utility scale development activities for the company. This is inclusive of all siting and greenfield development activities, interconnection, permitting and power marketing through monetization of the assets through sales at pre-NTP, NTP and COD. Paul has overseen these activities for over 100 projects accounting for 900 MWs or solar generating assets in operation with an active development pipeline of over 5000MW of solar and storage assets.

As Board Chair of the SC Solar Business Alliance, serving in my second term, I have worked with the Office of Regulatory Staff, SCE&G, Duke Energy Carolinas, Duke Energy Progress, CCL, SACE and the rest of the the solar stakeholders to help draft SC NEM 2.0, implement the the IOU DER programs and am in the process of revising a unified SC Interconnection Standard.My work at the SBA would not be possible without all of the groundwork that my predecessors laid before me. The SC solar industry should all take time to offer a special thanks to Andrew Streit (Solbright RE), Bruce Wood (Sunstore Solar), Grant Reeves (The Intertech Group) and all the other solar pioneers that have been fighting to build a solar market in SC for over a decade.
