NamePedro SousaBiographyHaving completed my degree in physiotherapy, I’ve dedicated myself to work in healthcare for the following years. During this time I also had the opportunity of managing a physiotherapy office. My interest in physiotherapy motivated me to attend advanced training courses and a Master's Degree. While doing it I’ve started to gain more knowledge and interest in the education area.This background led me to join Bwizer, a huge reference in the advanced training market for healthcare professionals in Portugal. As a product manager in Bwizer I was responsible for leading the development of new products in advanced training for healthcare and exercise professionals, therefore combining two of my passions - education and healthcare.Feeling eager to evolve each day, I have enrolled and concluded, with great enthusiasm, an Executive MBA at Porto Business School. This led me to the next challenge, a PhD in Management that I am attending in FEP - Faculdade de Economia do Porto, where I am developing my thesis on the topic of "Patient Experience".This knowledge and passion for healthcare and management led me to combine these two areas and found Blue Physio Consultoria, a consultancy firm for healthcare businesses, that is helping our clients to grow their businesses and value proposition, based on a person / customer-centric approach, and by implementing the best management, marketing and strategy practices.We believe in co-creating better healthcare services.
