I've been curious over technology and how it is built ever since I was a kid and found the joy of taking apart toy-cars and repurposing their electric engines to induce motion in otherwise motionless Legos.This curiosity was then developed during my studies through a liking for sciences such as Maths, Physics and Biology which I decided to expand when I applied to a MSc in Biomedical Engineering. During it I came in contact with programming languages and their uses and developed a special interest for programmable electronics such as Arduinos, PICs and Signal Acquisition Circuits. As a consequence, my thesis project goal was to develop an automated robotic arm to assess the severity of muscular spasticity. After finishing my MSc, the opportunity to keep applying many concepts learned and work as a software developer arose and I took it with excitement!Along my career, I've worked mainly for foreign clients in the UK (on-site and Nearshore), Turkey (on-site) and USA involved in projects in Financial Services, e-Marketing, Telco and Insurance business areas with focus on building Back-End applications and Big Data processing pipelines.I've progressively become seen as a team member highly capable to bridge Tech-dev teams and the Business teams in clients I've consulted or worked with. My fluency in English, ease and curiosity to learn new languages, emphatic personality and high level of cultural and routine adaptation have been reflected in the success achieved with clients.In terms of management, I've had the chance to do very exciting things such as design a training process to prepare junior Software Engineers and Scala Back-End developers to deliver projects in a Nearshore Business model. I have also had the chance to lead and mentor amazing teams in multiple companies while paralely performing other tasks such as the ones of: Engineering Manager, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Product Management and Solution Architect.
