As a Retirement Income Specialist at Ash Brokerage, I work directly with our external wholesalers and advisors to strategically manage a territory, cultivate new relationships, and increase sales opportunities for advisors and their practice. -Promote, market, and educate advisors on companies’ products and services using effective sales and marketing techniques. -Possess knowledge of all company products and creative ways to market these products for advisors using advanced marketing concepts. Provide advisors with product information, quotations, and materials required to be licensed and/or write business. Understand in detail annuities, life insurance, long-term care, Medicaid, and tax code relating to the industry. -Introduce advisors to our value-added programs and their benefits. Identify and maintain contact with potential and existing advisors. -Identify and maintain contact through follow-up on product quotes and materials sent to advisors.-Provide advisors with support and problem solving in all areas.Ash Brokerage’s team of more than 300 industry experts are committed to investigating, analyzing, and comparing products and sales concepts to ensure the advisor has all the right solutions for their clients. As Annuity Marketing Consultant at Ash Brokerage, I am responsible for facilitating conversations around annuities and planning solutions to financial advisors and planners. Our approach is to focus on customization to make sure the design fits both the client's need and budget. We also focus on building relationships with an advisor to help maximize the impact the Annuity Marketing Department can have on their practice. -Provide objective, consultative services in response to agent/broker requests for assistance in placing the optimal annuity contract policy to meet applicants' unique and individual needs. -Sustain continuous focus on quality improvement of processes and services.-In a time sensitive, market-driven environment, respond to inquiries from agents/brokers requesting assistance in locating an annuity contract to meet specific customer needs. Through discussion with agent, collect information regarding the prospective applicant, including age, investment goals, and preferences. -Based on understanding of the needs of the prospective applicant, perform research and employ knowledge of current market activity and carrier offerings to recommend a contract closely tailored to the applicant's specifications.-Perform proactive outbound marketing. Solicit current and prospective agents and brokers, advising of new products, carriers, services and sales ideas with the intent of generating new and additional business for the Company.-Through regular contact with agents and carriers, establish and maintain rapport to enhance working relationships. Capitalize on opportunity to educate agents on various product offerings and the benefits of doing business with Ash Brokerage.-Maintain awareness of new or modified product offerings and industry developments.
