Peter K. GonyePeter Gonye is a co-leader in Spencer Stuart's Private Equity Practice in North America and leads the Global Banking & Markets Practice in the U.S. He also is a member of the Financial Officer and Board Services practices. Among the many chief executive officer assignments he has conducted, Peter has worked on numerous searches for leading financial services firms, including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, CIT Group, NYSE and Fannie Mae. In the alternative investments arena (private equity firms and hedge funds), he has worked with several of the largest funds in a variety of different senior-level searches.Peter is actively engaged in chief executive officer and board advisory assignments pertaining to succession, executive assessment, retention, professional development and compensation. Peter has been quoted in numerous business periodicals and journals, and has appeared as a guest on several television programs.Prior to entering executive search, Peter spent a decade in investment banking mostly at Lehman Brothers. He has served clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies in the U.S. and international companies to emerging growth companies.
