Solving complex problems and helping others in doing so is what drives me towards innovation every day.Starting from a young age I have always been fascinated by the beautiful structure of nature. This has lead me towards studying the field of Physics and later pursuing a PhD, during which I found out that information theory, in particular its ability to distill physical laws from observational data about our universe, is what I find most fascinating. While my research on this topic is at times quite theoretical, what I enjoy most is the time I spent consulting other researchers on their data analysis problems, where these abstract concepts have a real world benefit.Alongside my interest in Physics, I have always been an enthusiastic Field Hockey player, a sport which I have been playing on a competitive level since childhood and continue to do so today.
