Pin-Han Yu graduated from National Taiwan University (NTU) with Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. In the field of plant science, Pin-Han is most interested in gene editing.During his academic path, he worked as a part-time assistant in Dr. Yuh-Chyang Charng’s laboratory in the Department of Agronomy at NTU, where he participated in a project aiming to increase the content of methionine in soybeans by prime editing. He also went to Town South Organic Farm in Miaoli. His main responsibilities were weed management and pest control by using organic ways. What was more, he had an internship in the Hengchun Branch, Taiwan Livestock Research Institute, where he acquired practical experience and knowledge about pasture crops and livestock.
