Organize VR excursions and pop-up screenings for the OCVR (O Cinema Virtual Reality) initiative with Miami-Dade Public Libraries.

Manage daily operations at an arthouse cinema, including projection, concessions, and box office. Participate in event management and organization during festivals or other special occasions.

The Classics branch of programming focuses on unique, culturally significant stories that have stood the test of time. Whether it's 10 or 50 years old, from the US or somewhere far away, familiar or foreign, Classics show a wide range of films that have each contributed to cinematic history.​

The Junior Programmer title is an internship at the ASLC assisting the other programmers with a focus on film. While shadowing the other film programmers, one learns the basics of connecting to distributors, curating exciting and meaningful film selections, event management, and working in tandem with our in-house advertising and video production teams. Towards the end of my internship, I was tasked with programming a film at our theater all on my own - Fallen Angels (1995) - which was a great success. Soon after, I was offered a paid position.

The Video Production team created a series of outputs, including a commercial and brand anthem. Tide provided a sustainable message for our campaign, so our team focused on the longevity of clothes and the stories they carry through multiple generations. Our commercial output was a series of real testimonials focusing on pairs of relatives who shared clothes between them. The brand anthem was a high-production narrative featuring a young girl (played by myself) maintaining her beloved father's sweater through all of life's messes. The judges raved about the final result, scoring 1st place in Regionals and Top 8 out of 103 teams in Nationals.

Arrowhead Advertising is a small team of Florida State University undergraduate students who compete in the American Advertising Federation's annual National Student Advertising Competition. The challenge is a year-long process of designing a campaign for a given client - a real company searching for young, fresh ideas. Students are divided into teams during the research (fall) and production (spring) phases of the campaign. As part of the interview team, I organized, conducted, and documented both individual interviews and focus groups. I then took part in interpreting the results in a way that best utilized our campaign goals.

Social media interns at Red Hills Releasing are primarily engaged in copywriting. Each work session consists of drafting promotional posts and reviews for films, each about a paragraph long and around fifteen total per day. After ensuring that each draft meets the criteria of succinct, informative, and engaging copy, interns are then responsible for posting the finished work on various platforms. Interns are savvy in where they post, employing a thorough understanding of the outflow, internal mechanisms, and audiences of each platform to maximize engagement.
