I am an innovative and detailed-oriented Brand Management Director with experience developing product mix strategies for major brand-driven marketing events, QSR promotions, publishing, and hard and soft consumer product lines. My focus is creating high quality, fun products while synergizing the whole brand message to connect to the desired target audience.In my current role, I lead a team that drives the creation of the style guides, character choices, marketing events/roll outs. I collaborate with licensing and other business teams to develop a product mix that aligns with brand guidelines and also appeals to consumers of all ages. It is a lot more than getting to pick characters that go on shirts and bags; our choices are dictated by current brand focus, product placement, and our target consumer. We then work closely with licensees and/or internal parties on anything from apparel and toys to international McDonald’s campaigns, mall tours, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade balloon. Product and brand development is not about today and tomorrow; it’s about months and years from now. I help my company with the forward planning required to read the product lifecycle and recognize when people are still interested, yet eager to see what’s next.
