At El Camino Hospital (ECH), I was brought in for 3 months projects as a contractor through Datalink. I completed both projects successfully working with Allscripts and Surgical Information Systems (SIS) to build and migrate Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) and SIS application/data from off-site hosting located in New Jersey to Mountain View (ECH data center). Other contributions included: • Monitored daily tickets assigned and closed them within the SLA; handled escalation tickets.• Managed and provisioned Windows 2012 R2 and Linux (Ubuntu and Red Hat) servers via VMware vSphere/ESX 5.5.• Worked diligently with desktop engineers and network team to ensure medical staff and remote users were able to access SCM and SIS applications successfully via VMware Horizon v6.1 VDI. • Administered Palo Alto Networks (PAN) PA-5060 v7.0.5 firewall security policy and rules.

At Virtual Instruments, I was the only Sr. Systems Administrator who managed, maintained, and administered all of the servers (physical and virtual), storage (EMC/NetApp), Shoretel voicemail systems, and backups to ensure that they were running effectively and efficiently.
