In charge of overall operation of a typical foreign bank’s branch in Vietnam

In charge of all credit related matters

i) Take part in supervising 5 other clerk members of the department, including but not limited to assigning, coaching & checking all of the below daily tasks.ii) Directly responsible, i.e. replying, defending deserving credit cases and declining adverse ones, reporting to Deputy General Director and above (i.e. General Director and Credit Committee).

- Reappraise Credit documents (Loan applications, requests, reviews submitted by Branches), i.e. (i) verify accuracy of information, (ii) ensure quality to be compliant with the Bank’s prevailing guidelines and (iii) require clarification if needed;- Propose further terms and conditions for the Bank’s better control & interest protection and recommend the above documents to higher levels of approving authority for approvals. Ensuring turnaround time of these approvals for Branches’ urgent needs;- Providing necessary supports to Branches during creation of the above documents, including general guiding & advising of all related matters to meet customers’ need.- Providing further support (for senior level), coaching (for junior level) to other team members when needed and performing other duties as assigned by the Bank’s Management from time to time (i.e. preparing several types of report & inquiry).Achievement: Reappraised over 650 credit cases, including both individual and corporate ones, with total amount of over USD160M (all performing loans at the time being).

- Getting in the professional working environment, providing supports to all team members as assigned and learning to cope with the current banking system in Vietnam;- Directly contact with the customers, preparing documents for their daily operations relating the Bank;- Searching for potential customers, providing financial consultants and cross-selling the Bank's products when there is a chance.
