Conducting in-depth research on various factors influencing investments across industries, leveraging Machine Learning methods such as Regression Analysis and Natural Language Processing (Python,NLTK,Tensorflow).Currently spearheading the development of an industry-specific investment strategy utilizing Natural Language Processing techniques applied to SEC Filings. Analyzing and extracting insights from company-specific filings to drive investment decisions. Comparing the performance of the strategy against established industry benchmarks.

Contributed to model development for direct indexing: using linear programming and quadratic programming to solve portfolio optimization, minimizing tracking error and turnover penalty while customizing number of securities, dividend or growth tilt, ESG, risk model construction, etc.; designed new methodologies for heuristic reduction. (Python, R)Index development methodologies are being incorporated into SmartLeaf’s engine for usage in the development of similar type of indexes in the future.Initially Joined as a summer intern and was hired to continue working part-time since September 2022.

Developed a deep learning model for the detection of language from a given script. (Python)I worked with a team to develop a deep learning model for the detection of language from a given script using python programming language and the model uses Natural Language Processing(NLP) and Convoluted Neural networks for predicting the language in a script.
