In 2012 I became a founder-member of Artelié Diseño; an architectural firm, dedicated to various expressions of design and its social benefits. As Project Manager, I coordinated the design process, executive planning and/or construction of more than 15 different projects, most significantly an Eco-Tourism Centre in the Caribbean region of Mexico, a Fair Trade Coffee Production Plant, an Eco-Retirement Village, and the restoration of a late 1940’s building in Mexico City.

In Argentina, I worked in a studio as a Design Assistant during the executive planning phase of a large scale governmental project in the city of Corrientes. Whilst here, I continued my professional experience by developing the design material, construction plans and specifications for the building of The Corrientes City Aquarium.

During my residence, I worked in the reconstruction of one of the oldest Haciendas in Yucatan. By working as a Design Assistant for Architect Walter Lingard and his firm, I had the opportunity to experience different architectural phases of a project, by developing design material, construction plans and other specifications for various buildings within the 50 000 m2 land, which involved the use and experimentation in different ecological and sustainable construction methods.

As a student of academic excellence, I was awarded the opportunity to be part of a pilot group that designed and built a small rural school for an indigenous community, under the supervision of a group of leading university professors. In this project, I learnt various techniques in the field of construction. I was awarded several recognitions from the university, including publications in several architectural articles.

Parallel to my studies, I worked as a Design Assistant for the Architect Carlos Lavore and his firm in Mexico City, in which I learnt how to use Autocad Design and 3D modelling software. During this time, I developed my knowledge and professional use of these techniques.
