Talon Storage Solutions (http://www.talonstorage.com/) was formed to develop specialized solutions for Distributed Storage Services for Private and Public clouds. The company had locations in New Jersey, the Bay Area, UK, Netherlands and India.Talon was acquired by NetApp in March 2020.

Architected the Windows solution for Cloud Velocity and built the team that is delivering the solution.CloudVelox was acquired by VMware

GeoFeel was formed to develop mobile applications with a focus on enterprise storage and data access.

Founder and Chairman of the board. Helped define initial strategy for the company including positioning in the NPM marketplace and initial focus on application aware QOS and marketing. Ongoing responsibilities included high level strategy, finance, sales, marketing and operations. Velocius was acquired by Akamai Technologies in November 2013.

Transitioned to consultant at Altior/Cebatech: -Helped further explore company strategy in storage and networking markets -Lead evangelist during conferences, customer/partner engagements and presentations for both storage and networking projects -Drove to completion the implementation of a hardware accelerated compression file system called CeDeFS (Compression Decompression File System) as well as a hardware accelerated disk encryption and delivered to OEM partner.- Architected and planned NFS integration with CeDeFS, both with CeDeFS running above an NFS mount (providing compressed data movement over networks) and below NFS server on Linux (providing storage savings and IO acceleration) allowing for positioning of the product in the NAS marketplace.- Created a roadmap for optimizing CeDeFS for IO acceleration in addition to storage optimization effectively increasingly TAM for the product.- Increased TAM for CeDeFS by positioning the product in the Big Data space with Hadoop integration and tuning. Project achieved 5x+ reduction in raw storage and 25%+ performance improvement on Terasort benchmark).Altior was acquired by Exar/Hifn in March 2013.

Acting as Storage Applications Lead. Duties include -helping define strategy for storage applications and other verticals -creating software architectures for software/hardware co-development -developing internal software resources -business development -authoring and consulting on device drivers for CebaTech's PCIe boards- completed entire software stack for AES-XTS volume encryption on Linux

Worked with Blue Coat to define next generation projects and create a template for the newly formed Advanced Technologies Group. Also helped with iShared sustaining and support.

CTO for the group created through the Tacit acquisition. Continued in the role after the Packeteer acquisition of Tacit Networks, Inc. Additional responsibilities included product evangelism and creating a combined technology roadmap for the PacketShaper and iShared products. IShared became the WAN Optimization component of the Packeteer product portfolio.

Founder, VP Engineering (till July 2005) and CTO. Responsible for all aspects of product delivery from helping define and create requirements for new features and products, architecture and design of various product lines, and product delivery. Led the team that created the original Wan Optimization product line on the Linux platform and then managed the port to Windows. Converted the product into networking by creating new features such as namespace transparency and deduplication.Tacit was acquired by Packeteer, Inc, in May 2006.
