I am a postdoc specializing in atmospheric dispersion modeling, fluid dynamics, and data science, working at Aarhus University's Atmospheric Modelling Section at the Department of Environmental Science, Roskilde, Denmark. I have a strong background in physics and mathematical modeling with a current focus on local-scale dispersion modeling within the field of air pollution. I am a postdoc specializing in atmospheric dispersion modeling, fluid dynamics, and data science, working at Aarhus University's Atmospheric Modelling Section at the Department of Environmental Science, Roskilde, Denmark. My main scientific focus is the development and evaluation of the high-resolution local-scale air pollution model DALM (the DAnish Lagrangian Model) which I started to develop during my Ph.D. DALM is a Lagrangian particle dispersion model, featuring simple chemistry and dry deposition, suitable for long-term model simulations of especially Denmark. I am also collaborating with many researchers on several projects involving human exposure to air pollution and related health impact assessments at different spatiotemporal scales. In the future, the new model DALM will hopefully play a larger part in these studies, paving the way for new insights and discoveries about the complex interrelations between air pollution and human health.

I did a Ph.D. project at the Department of Environmental Science at the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Aarhus University at Risø. This project was an integrated part of the activities of the Danish Big Data Center for Environmental and Health (BERTHA).The overall aim of the project was to significantly advance methodologies for computational modeling of air pollution to better human air pollution exposure estimates and to improve health impact assessment. This was achieved by building a new high-resolution local-scale air quality model for Denmark, named the DAnish Lagrangian Model (DALM).As a part of this Ph.D., I have presented at two international conferences, authored and co-authored several scientific articles, and visited the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany for two months.I have also assisted with grant writing, done mentoring for new Ph.D. students, joined the editorial board for the institute's SoMe profile, and served on the Ph.D. student committee.
