My doctoral work focused on the valorization of agro-industrial lignocellulosic biomass, specializing in isolating Cellulose Nanocrystals for their application as bioplastic reinforcement agents.🔍 I am an active member of the MEtRICs Group, contributing my skills and insights to various research projects. Additionally, I am proud to be a co-founder of Cubic B - Biomass for Bioenergy and Bioproducts Research Group, where we are dedicated to advancing the field through innovative solutions.🎓 In my role as an Invited Professor, I shared my passion for research and knowledge with students, conducting laboratory classes in the "Bioenergy" and "Food Technology and Safety" Masters programs at the Chemistry Department of NOVA School of Science and Technology in Lisbon, Portugal.🚴 Outside the lab, you'll find me embracing my love for cycling and exploring new avenues for sustainable solutions.
