CurrentDuties & Responsibilities:• promote positive health and hygiene • Lead group activity programmes for residents to develop community inclusion and improve independence.• Monitor individual’s progress, continuously updating and adjusting care plans to meet health and well-being needs.• Practise equality, and diversity policies to comply with professional practice standards and legislation.• Participate in group meetings, providing safe, secure spaces for service users to interact and socialise.Skills learned:• Learned to communicate with residents through non-verbal communication.• Learned how to provide physical and emotional support, employing compassionate care to help individuals achieve their full potential.• Attention to detail through tasks like administering medication(eye drops), monitoring vital signs, and observing changes in residents’ health.• Maintaining confidentiality regarding their personal and health-related information.• Efficiently managing time and prioritising tasks is crucial in meeting the needs of residents promptly.• Able to adapt to unexpected challenges and problem-solve effectively.• Maintain a record of residents’ well-being by accurately documenting their observations, the care provided, and any changes in their conditions.
