I have been training my students of English Language Teaching in pedagogy and innovative methods to teach English using technology to the students from MCC Community College through spoken English workshops where students from under privileged background who have had limited exposure to English language in their schools are trained. Other subjects I teach are literature based that include Victorian Fiction, Neoclassical Age, Women’s Writing, Indian Writing in English, European and Tamil Classics in Translation and an innovative interdisciplinary skill-based course Current Trends in Music and Literature. I began my teaching career in Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, My teaching responsibilities included preparing and delivering lecture for students at the under-graduation level and assisting in the conduct of the Final Examination.
