My almost 30 years of experience working on four continents spans multiple industries (energy, services, and manufacturing) in a variety of roles, including operations, investment banking, trading, business strategy, and business development. Leveraging this diverse background to drive innovation and grow businesses in both executive and board roles gives me great satisfaction in my career.I'm not afraid to take the reins at a company that is facing big challenges. In fact, I actively seek out big challenges, from introducing motor sports to an unlikely region (the Middle East), to summiting the Matterhorn, to guiding companies through difficult periods of transition. In that mode, I am honored to be included in the 2020 Atlanta 500 and the nominees for Chief Trailblazer of the Year by Platts Global Energy Awards.My experience in leadership roles at companies like Cobb EMC, Standard Bank, Halliburton, T5 Oil & Gas, Alevo, and Enron taught me how to transform workplace cultures and motivate work forces even while navigating the most challenging dynamics. I do this through transparency, communication, honesty, and taking care of my employees. I believe that true leadership is doing the right thing at the right time, no matter how difficult.
