I've got over 23 years of experience in software development and especially in improving its ways of working. Over the last 18 years I've focused on Agile software development and it has taken me to interesting places :). I love my work and would like to help others find joy in theirs, and boost their work places and careers at the same time.I learned the roots of my Agile at Digia Oyj, where I worked as a Process Improvement Manager, responsible for company-wide software development processes and teaching people better ways of working. At first I did so with a waterfall approach (so I actually know quite well how to do good waterfall, too), but since late 2005, I focused most of my effort to learning, doing, and teaching Agile. It was during that time, in late 2008, when I got my Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) accreditation by Scrum Alliance as the first Finn.In early 2010, I wanted to concentrate on my trainings and I founded Agilecraft. By today, I’d done over 400 certified courses, plus plenty of non-certified customized trainings and coaching. While most of my work has been in Finland, I’ve worked a lot in many international locations, mainly in US, UK, Serbia, Estonia and Latvia. I’ve done training and coaching in organisations ranging from small start-ups to multinational giants. In 2012-2014, I took a job as an Organisational ScrumMaster at Futurice. At the time, Futurice was recognized as the best place to work for in Finland and Europe, and I joined them to help them continue that journey to more Agility and effectiveness.
