1990-1994 I started as Treasury of the GIB Coordination Center where I got a broad experience in cash management (cash pooling, currency & interst swaps, hedging, ..).bonds issue (Flux), Assets management (pension funds), tax optimization.1994 1996 : assistant group controller for the Do It Youself business - Set up of a standard packaging report in 2 pillars (DIY and Speciality Retail) -Creation of the Control Department of GLOBI (Poland,Supermarket Chain, 12 outlets)1996 -1998 : catergory manager non food - Create the business Control function in the Non Food Procurement organization of GB - Management of 2 categories (stationary and cigarettes) commercial negociations,pricing, ..)1998 - 2000 : head of controlling department franchising (GB partner) - Set up , organize and put in place the Controlling Department of the new GB Partner Chain which was the merger of 3 existing chains (Unic, Nopri and GB , ± 400 outlets). - Define the pricing model (cost +) (margin breakdown between franchisee and franchisor) and the franchisee business plan (capex, P&L, ROI, ..)2000- 2003 : Head of Controlling GB Supermarket (own stores + franchising) - Implementation of SAP retail (on Carrefour Belgium level) - Streamline and standardize the Business Review process within Supermarket (own/ franchised stores). - Participate actively to the pricing strategy (segmentation)2003 - 10/2005 : Director of Controlling Carrefour Belgium (super/ hyper; logistic; procurement,..) - Animate a team of ± 50 Business Controllers through all business lines (Hypermarket, Supermarket, Logistics, ..) - Streamline, organize and develop the Business Review process in all Business Units
