We raise the fish from egg to harvest in an indoor closed system using fresh water only, recirculating over 90% of it and not using any pesticides or antibiotics. The farm is the first of several planned to serve local markets across the country, dramatically cutting transportation miles and bringing the freshest salmon possible to the marketplace. The operation is the first Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP) certified RAS farm in the world. We have also achieved certification for one of the highest food safety standards in the country, Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and are the first fish production facility to accomplish this.
