After spending 25 years in metal finishing industry. I've recently made the short journey into the world of surface treatments. Expanding on my knowledge of corrosion protection, cosmetic appearance and friction with the tribological properties of wear, seizure and impact resistance of ferrous materials with HEF Groups patented thermochemical Nitrocarburizing treatments ARCOR®, TENIFER®, TUFFTRIDE®, MELONITE®, NUTRIDE® & QPQ®. It's a slightly unusual role as I also sell another two product ranges. Firstly, salt bath heat treatment materials & equipment in the UK for nitrocarburizing, carburizing, annealing, hardening, quenching, tempering, thermochemical cleaning, vulcanizing, aluminum brazing, boriding, blackening & stop off compounds for gas carburizing.Secondly, a range a bushings (steel & composite, slides & pins into construction equipment , agriculture, steel industry, cement industry, glassware, handling and hydraulic turbines.Lastly, Physical vapor deposition and plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition (PVD and PACVD) is next on the agenda for us at TSUK in Birmingham, exciting times.
