CBM Business Area Manager, leading a team of 20 on a range of programmes, including UK Air C2, Joint Data Network, Air Picture CONEMP, the EUROCONTROL CEATS programme, and BLOS TDLs. Axiomatic in providing support for the UK Air Surveillance & Control System, and the IADM 2 programme (mid-life update of the UK Joint Force Air Component Headquarters (JFACHQ), Tactical Air Control Centre and the Transportable JTIDS Facility), including preparation of User and System-level Requirements sets; overarching CONOPS documentation, and drafting of Business Cases. He also provided technical advice to DEC(TA) and the UKACCS community with evolving concepts and doctrine for TMD in deployed operations. As a RAF Reserve Officer, he manned the UK JFACHQ for deployed operations, and helped develop scenarios for the UK Kill Chain Defence Initiative. DV cleared.

During RAF career as a fighter controller; completed a number of operational tours within the UKADGE and Falkland Islands, worked alongside overseas Air Forces; commanded the BMEWS site at RAF Fylingdales and, as a senior staff officer, was the MOD Operational Sponsor for NATO ACCS; TDLs; NGIFF and Mode S, and a series of TMD trials and exercises with NATO and US partners.
