Atara is developing T-cell products for the treatment of specific oncology and autoimmune diseases. Atara's products are designed to treat a wide spectrum of patients in need with allogeneic T-cells that have been developed to recognize the same therapeutic target. This approach allows Atara to build a library of T-cells for each of these targeted therapies that are ready for immediate deployment for patients in need.I consider myself very fortunate to be part of the discovery and development process to help commercialize these innovative therapies, and making them available for patients that might otherwise have few other treatment options.

I work in a group called Global Process Engineering. We transfer developed processes to the Clinical and Commercial manufacturing facilities. Our involvement in a process starts in development, into IND, and ends with the Marketing Application and commercial licensure.
