AAP is a custom equipment manufacturer. I was recruited to join AAP, to bring Dx and DDC technologies to their product lines.I established and managed the Refrigeration Department (1-1/2 years).I established and managed the Controls Department (1-1/2 years).I was an Outside Sales Engineer (2-years).I was the Product Manager for VRFarms, a large scale VRF system (2-years). - I was the primary Engineer for the product. - I wrote software-based selection and efficiency estimation tools. - I traveled extensively promoting, starting up and commissioning the installations.

In 1990, Carrier Corporation divested its wholly-owned Los Angeles distributorship. The office I was at, then became the Southern Califonia A/C Distributors (or SCACD). After four years, our name changed to USACD.I was the branch DDC (Sales Engineer) at the San Diego Branch (5 years).I managed the Customer Assurance Group at the COI headquarters (6 years).I was a home-based Consultant-Coverage (Sales Engineer) in Central Coast territory (9 years).I managed the Controls Department at the COI headquarters (1-1/2 years).

City Of Industry

I joined Carrier Corp as a Technical Representative. My primary responsibilities were to assist our customers with the selection and application (pre-sale) of, and the support (post-sale) of Carrier products.My secondary responsibilities were:I created and instructed technical training classes for contractors (dealers).I presented our new products at industry-related meetings (such as ASHRAE, RSES, ACCA and SMACNA).I resolved consumer complaints.I negotiated warranty claims.I proofread and reported inaccuracies in the Technical and Sales literature.
