In Australia as deputy manager for the IGA supermarket i was responsible for opening the store up on a morning, checking in early deliveries, welcoming staff in for the day and letting them know about promotions. Monitoring fresh stock such as milk and meat and putting on promos where necessary. Ordering and filling lines, liaising with area managers for new lines and launching promos, buying stock and merchandising. Cash handling and closing when on late shifts.
