• Manages construction, engineering, and procurement of up to 15 multi-disciplinary projects concurrently.• Coordinates all parties on every aspect of the project to complete on time and under budget.• Works with multiple clients to transition from need, to concept, project proposal, detailed design, and completed final installation.• Utilizes strategic thinking and planning coordinating long term client relationships by viewing each individual project as part of a larger program leading each client to achieve success. Makes decisions, plans, and actions based on balancing long term relationships with short term project goals.• Oversees QC for all enigneering deliverables, procurement, and construction for managed projects.• Progressively updates project plans and approach based on new and updated inputs and information.• Utilizes MS Project and inputs from all applicable stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules.

Lead up to 35 multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously, ranging in value from $10,000 to $1.5 Million, to improve plant safety, increase plant productivity, and upgrade plant reliability for client, Eastman Chemical.Mentor, train, and coach engineers to effectively support projects and update project status documentation.Develop project scopes, estimate projects, and facilitate project communication.Mark up drawings for design, write instructions for fabrication, and coordinate documentation for approvals.Schedule meetings to discuss road blocks, coordinate approvals, and request new projects to support.Remove project road blocks and obstacles to ensure a smooth transition to the next task.Monitor hours charged to projects, investigate unfair or inaccurate charges, and push for charge removal.Assist client engineers with questions, update client group leader on project status, and address all concerns.Collaborate with other Project Engineers to determine priority on projects and design resource allocation.Attend site leadership meetings to discuss the status of the office, changes/issues, and process improvement.Update “management of change” logs in clients’ systems and own engineering aspects of changes.Key Accomplishments:Led more than $38 Million in projects and contributed to more than $45 Million in projects from 2012 to 2018.Led the team that improved on-time engineering completion by 30%.Decreased the time needed for project estimating by up to 3 weeks.Supported several reorganizations and significant leadership changes by creating training documentation and communicating requirements, creating stability in a group that sees high turnover.
