Lead the OI strategic planning process for Economic Justice, driving the process and plan to generate the next generation of Oxfam’s programming on social justice in a resource-constrained world (third of global OI programme and 70% of campaigning).Successful advocate, and representative of Oxfam to diverse high-level audiences in the European Union, emerging markets and poor countries, including a member of the high level advisory panel for the Future of Food and Farming, the Board of Patrons for the global Planet Under Pressure conference, and the Strategy Board of Global Food Security. Led the design and implementation of Oxfam’s latest campaign on food justice in a resource-constrained world (GROW: food, life, planet), involving all affiliates, and allies to gain common ownership for the grand strategy, global management, and governance.Transformed the perspective of Oxfam’s global campaign resources towards climate and poverty. Led Oxfam International’s global Make Trade Fair campaign, focused on the Doha Development Round. Through sophisticated outreach and advocacy, and world-wide campaigning, we helped embolden emerging economies (such as China, India, Brazil and South Africa), and governments of some of the poorest countries (such as West Africa) to be more assertive in the negotiations.

Led a team of 20 public policy advisers and advocates to achieve change in the plicies of governments and corporations in the areas of humanitarian (Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Bosnia, Kosovo, Occupied Palestinian Territories); economic justice (patents and access to medicines; World Trade Organisation and European Economic Partnership Agreements), and finance for development (debt cancellation, and increase in development aid)
