Responsible for the Distribution of Finished Products from our PVC Compounds and Powders manufacturing plant. the off loading and locating of all incoming materials, constant warehouse control, ensuring work place tidiness and working to British Standard Procedures BS5750.from 1993 to 97 I worked for the PVC Group PLC at Stefanie Works, Chinley, High Peak, in the exactly the same roll and for the same employer, Mr M.D. MakinForklift Truck Instructor and HGV Class 1 Driver ( if and when required )

Started in 1967 as apprentice HGV fitter forming part of a team of 14 HGV fitters maintaining a lorry fleet of over one hundred trucks consisting of 6 & 8 wheel tippers, powder tankers, and flatbed rigid heavy goods vehicles, which mainly operated carrying lime from I.C.I quarries around Buxton, High Peak. the fleet was made up of about 70% Fodens 20% Albion and 10% Atkinsons with some Bedford Lime spreaders
