By leveraging national and international partnerships and proponents of medical device innovation across sectors, we assisted in the development and adoption of new and novel Canadian technologies with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.Reporting to the General Manager, as Director of Project Assessment and Services I led a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise (MD, Engineers, Finance); performed and led due diligence on potential investments; established processes for rapid, reliable, and quality service offerings, both by preferred service provider partners and in-house, and; managed relationships with startups and subject matter experts.As with my previous positions at MDCC, I was actively involved with the medical device community. I led a successful Key Opinion Leader (KOL) clinician workshop for clients, organized and MC’d a multi-city event (Toronto and Montreal) with our partner Greater MSP, attended by Canadian medical device industry leaders and innovators, and represented MDCC at international conferences (RSNA, CES-Digital Health, AF Symposium) to identify industry trends and innovations to level-up our knowledge base for identifying priority investment.
