I developed, managed, and implemented all Security electronic systems across MHHS’s 19 hospitals and numerous specialty programs and services. I focused on minimizing or eliminating safety and security mishaps by assessing risks and developing programs and plans to address any issues. I ensured policies and procedures complied with federal, state, and local safety standards. I regularly assessed products and vendors for on-going projects.★ I project managed the system upgrade from a single server in 2014 to multiple server CCURE 9000 enterprise system.★ I directed the purchase and installation of Milestone Corporate video management system, including the conversion of system analog cameras to the system.★ I spearheaded the implementation of Traka key management system and Iris Scanning technology for secure access to high security areas.

Houston Medical Center

Managed hospital-wide access control, CCTV, and intercom systems to ensure safety and security of hospital employees, patients, and visitors. Oversaw planning, management, and coordination of access control-related operations, held responsibility for access card and key security, electronic products system management, vendor / contractor management, and overall management of hospital access and key control program. Formulated and oversaw new installations and service contracts and final test and acceptance of these systems. Provided day-to-day management of existing installations, including CCURE Enterprise, Milestone Video, Morse Watchman Keywatcher, and EasyLobby Visitor Management systems.★ I managed the transition from the existing Andover system to an enterprise Software House CCURE 9000 system.★ I directed the long-term conversion of the existing analog CCTV system to an IP-based system.★ I researched and evaluated vendors and emerging access control technology, such as new hardware, software, and management tools, facilities, and access card and key control security.As a Sr. Security Systems Specialist I was responsible for the day-to-day systems support of the access control, CCTV and intercom systems. Responsible for managing in-house security projects, oversight of installations, final test and acceptance of installed systems. Managing the long term conversion of the existing analog CCTV system to an IP based system. Assisted in the evaluation of vendors and products for the new access control and CCTV projects. North America

I was contracted to support, manage, and control Nissan North America’s Lenel Enterprise security system, including overall management and service / repair activities throughout North America. I managed daily operations of system and access control and served as Service Coordinator to manage overall service and work-order processes to ensure established service standards and associated metrics were met. I liaised with IT group and Lenel’s RMS group to review overall system health and status. I provided advice, guidance, and expertise of short- and long-term management of electronic security systems. I served as subject matter expert for users and vendors installing and/or servicing Nissan Enterprise system. I conducted facility testing and acceptance of installed systems and implemented all system updates and upgrades.★ I designed and project managed the installation of Lenel Enterprise access control system for all of Nissan North America.★ I managed projects through the full lifecycle from conception, evaluation, design, and testing to implementation, documentation, training, and deployment. ★ I developed and conducted customized training for each Nissan location, focusing on the location’s particular needs and use of the system.

I was responsible for the creation of system specifications, system floor plan drawings, selection of bidders, evaluation of bid submittals, providing recommendations to the owner for project award, oversight of system installation, final acceptance and testing of completed systems, and training. ★ I managed the installation and administration of a national enterprise based system for Nissan North America.

I was responsible for access control system design, layout and pricing. I consulted with factory representatives and manufacturers for pricing and technical data. I oversaw sub-contractors performing installations for national projects. I acted as the technical interface with the customer and the customer’s IT department. I developed and conducted training of customer personnel in the use of access control and CCTV systems.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I provided day-to-day supervision of security service technicians and dispatch personnel. Developed and implemented electronic training presentations covering basic electricity, basic closed circuit television and basic access control systems. System troubleshooting and technical support with customers and technicians in field. Supported sales force with project specifications review and formulation of project proposals. Maintained service library of manuals on corporate network.★ I initiated programs that resulted in a 25% increase in billing. ★ I certified my classes with Texas Education Board so that participants could receive CEU credits toward license renewal.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I directed oversight of national projects and supported Sales and Marketing. I generated system specifications and requests for pricing and quote documents. I supervised CAD, Technical Support and Consulting departments. I developed ongoing training and safety programs for operations group. I reviewed and presented recommendations regarding STRATESEC systems.★ I created and conducted customer training on systems utilizing WINDOWS 95/98 and Windows NT 4.0. ★ I initiated the STRATESEC.COM project, which consolidated and provided internet email accounts for STRATESEC personnel, as well as a high-speed connection to the internet for the regional and corporate offices.

I directed the supervision of multiple installation crews and contractors, and directly interacted with customers. I provided technical support to our service, sales and installation teams. I was responsible approval/acceptance of sales orders, system engineering, projecting manpower requirements, equipment requisition, site surveys, equipment installation, software installation, installation of the customer system database and customer training. ★ I controlled projects achieving approximately $1.2 million in annual revenue.
