During the last year of my diploma course I established my own business in therapeutic massage and then started remedial massage. I presently have a range of clientele that I deal with on days that I am not working and in the evenings. Some of the people I have worked on include the Newcastle Knights and Newcastle Jets players.

I worked at the Newcastle Jockey Club in their flagship restaurant, Chevals. My duties there were to take responsibility for the entrées and desserts. Initially I started working there on a part-time basis while I was studying. Upon completion of studies I was asked to join the team of chefs on a permanent casual basis. At the Clarendon I was responsible for the preparation, serving and ordering for the breakfast menu. It was an enjoyable position as I worked with a core group of staff.

's Aid.Having completed a working with children police background check, I worked on a part-time basis at these schools. My main duties were to assist the classroom teacher in all areas of teaching, help with children who need extra attention, supervise students during special assignments, and help with administrative duties. I also attended school excursions.

Manage and cook for a student body of about 400. Daily running of cafeteria from ordering, stock control, finances and educating staff on OH&S issues.

My duties at the school were to arrange meals for the student body of about 450 on a daily basis. I lead a staff of 5, and about 2 or 3 volunteers. I had to oversee every detail of the cafeteria, handling money, ordering supplies and produce, checking the quality of goods, menu planning, implementing hygienic work procedures, serving meals, clean-up, administrative duties, OH&S, and report to the school leadership team.Part of my responsibilites went beyond the daily running of the cafeterial and involved event planning and seeing these events successfully carried out. Coordinating with department heads to arrange banquets and special meals for the staff and students body, which catered to over 250 people.

Over the last 5 years I was involved in catering weddings and other functions that required a high level of presentation and preparation skills. At these functions I worked as the main chef as well as working in conjunction with other chefs to obtain an exceptional finished products. Business Operations

As a partnership with ACUP we built an English education program for the Board of Education (BOE) to teach in elementary schools, Junior High Schools and High Schools,. At the end of the first year we had build a strong and highly desired style of teaching, which resulted in continuing contracts with the BOE. We initially starting off teaching in one city and with six teachers, we now have over four cities and over 50 teachers working for us and teaching in all levels of primary education. My responsibilities were to manage the teaching staff, do teacher training and create curriculum for all levels of education. Apart from in-school lessons, I developed seminars for the Japanese teachers to learn how to teach English to students, how to create lesson plans, and how to work in teams. These were summertime intensive courses run by the local BOE.. Oz English

I established this business to teach English to children, adults, and businesses within the greater Tokyo area. The business quickly expanded and we had major clients from government organizations to international companies and educational institutes seeking our services. Some of these included NHK(Japanese public broadcasting organisation), Pioneer (electronics manufacturer), Hoya Kindergarten, Contents (international design company) and many smaller private classes. We also conducted new employee seminars to motivate staff in English education and to promote continuing education, especially in the are of English language courses.

I worked for several companies who sent teachers out to various business locations to teach business and casual English lessons, as well as being a direct hire by some of the companies as an in-house teacher

This museum was a newly built Japanese style art museum located about one hour outside of Tokyo. My roles at this museum was to help translate documents from Japanese to English, to promote the museum to international companies and organizations within Japan, and to help with foreign dignities and guests that visited the museum.
