As the Civic Practice Leader for Grace Hebert Curtis, I helped position the firm for success as a Civic Practice in Texas. Accomplishments included:- Development of business development and strategic marketing model for civic pursuits in Texas- Introduction of the firm to my existing network of clients, consultants, and contractors - Extensive research of Texas city growth data, previous and future bond information, and city websites, to identified prospective clients with funded projects- Development of individual pursuit strategies- Detailed SOQ writing- Led pursuits and project wins in Carrollton and Fort Worth

As Corporate Commercial Civic Practice Leader for Perkins&Will, I was responsible for building a successful, award-winning practice for the Southwest Region that consistently ranked among the top 5 practices in the firm for sales and profitability. At the national level, I was responsible for developing regional practice strategies and on the local level I led the practice and all project pursuits. As a Seller/Doer, I served as the client point of contact throughout the project. Other responsibilities included office leadership, daily leadership of 30 team members, contract and fee negotiations, project collaboration throughout programming, planning, and design, and oversight of project delivery and construction. As the Business Development Leader for the CCC practice, I developed and leveraged relationships and market research to identify and secure initial contact with key decision-makers. I was also instrumental in identifying talent, mentoring, and growing our talented team. Notable Achievements:• Launched the Corporate Commercial Civic Practice for the Southwest Region, growing a team of 1 to a team of 30, with support from other studios including design, interiors, and others. • Led our project pursuit strategy for corporate commercial and civic projects for the region from business development and RFQ process through negotiation, design collaboration, civic planning, team and client leadership, and construction oversight.• 2020 NSR of $9M, securing consistent top 5 placement in Perkins&Will.
