Trace metals analysis by ICPMS and other techniques. Urea analysis in water by IC-MS. Alpha particle counting. Specialize in the analysis of new materials used in next generation semiconductor manufacturing, such as high-k and low-k atomic layer and chemical vapor deposition precursor compounds.Develop methods of analysis for a wide variety of materials in support of our Production Laboratory. Routinely work with highly reactive and air sensitive materials.Operate alpha counters to measure alpha particle emission from materials used in semiconductor manufacturing.Operate LC-MS to monitor compounds such as urea in UHP water and other samples.

12 years of experience in the technical management of environmental testing laboratories, including ERMI. Data review, consulting with customers, quality control and laboratory safety. Extensive experience with NPDES, RCRA, TRRP (Texas), and NIOSH testing methodologies and regulations. Hands-on experience with GC, GCMS, GFAA, ICPOES, and other techniques of analysis.

Taught courses in Physical Chemistry, Quantum Mechanics, and Chemical Thermodynamics. Member of the Graduate Faculty.
