CurrentI am a Road Haulage consultant and instructor.I am a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) and can provide a consultancy role for transport operations whose undertakings involve the carriage of dangerous goods by road.I also instruct professional drivers who wish to gain their ADR license to carry dangerous goods by road as part of their employment. In addition to this I teach JAUPT approved courses to professional drivers in order for them to gain the relevant hours of periodical training enabling them to gain their Driver Qualification Card. I deliver level 3 Emergency First Aid and level 3 First Aid at Work Qualifications to individuals who require this level of training in the work place.I also deliver courses on behalf of Driver First Assist. This particular course is approved by JAUPT and is supported by all emergency services. The concept behind the course is to train professional drivers how to approach the scenes of road traffic collisions on all road networks. It teaches the drivers how to conduct a dynamic risk assessment and to keep themselves safe. It teaches them to locate themselves on the strategic road network and how to disseminate the correct information in order to initiate the correct level of response from the emergency services and equally importantly, how to carry out basic life support functions prior to the arrival of the emergency services.I have now taken delivery of the latest version Digital Tachograph Recording equipment simulators and can therefore provide training in this area for the road haulage industry.
