Supported all aspects of FinCEN’s mission to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes including civil enforcement actions and the use of targeted financial measures under Section 311 of the USA PATRIOT Act. Provided guidance to internal as well as external stakeholders related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), cryptocurrencies and other emerging technologies, regulatory compliance, data management, privacy, government contracting, and HR-related issues.

Responsible for prosecuting felony and misdemeanor offenses and advising federal investigators and military police on numerous criminal investigations, including violent felonies, cybercrime, drug offenses, and financial fraud.

National security law attorney at Fort Bragg and overseas for a joint special operations counter-terrorism task force conducting sensitive nationally-directed operations in over a dozen countries. Also responsible for the organization's robust government contracting portfolio.

Principal legal advisor to the commander of a 1,500 Soldier unit supporting National Security Agency operations advising on issues such as the planning, development, and execution of intelligence operations as well as general regulatory compliance and procurement, contract, and fiscal law.

Advised senior leaders, including 14 General Officers, on actions pertaining to regulatory compliance, federal ethics, government contracts, fiscal law, investigations and hearings, FOIA and Privacy Act issues, and other policy development matters. Also, served as the primary procurement fraud attorney in all of South Korea advising federal investigators on numerous fraud investigations and served as the sole legal advisor to the U.S. Forces-Korea contractor suspension and debarment official.

Provided legal counsel related to procurement and contract law in combat operations, U.S. Forces withdrawal operations, U.S. property transfer to the Iraqi Government, fraud, and Economy Act transations that facilitated the transition of all operations to the Department of State.

Provided legal counsel on procurement and contract laws related to contract formation and administration, contractor proposal analysis, bid protests, the use of appropriated and non-appropriated funds, as well as fraud and ethics.

Represented a wide range of clients in registered and unregistered debt and equity offerings, venture capital financings, mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Also assisted a variety of public companies with their ongoing SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance requirements, and with a variety of other corporate governance and general corporate matters.
