The World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon) has been running since 1939. Held annually, it moves around the globe attracting up to 10,000 attendees across a five-day event.• Glasgow: Senior and a founder member of the bid team to bring a Worldcon to Glasgow in 2024. Over the next five years we will build a team of over 200 people across a wide range of countries and cultures to ensure the delivery of a world-class event.• Dublin (August 2019): Senior member of the Chair's troubleshooting team. Role involved operational and strategic problem resolution across logistics, personnel, contingency planning and management.• Helsinki (August 2017): Management of the Exhibit and Dealers' Hall managing an international team of twenty volunteers. Role involved extensive planning and co-ordination pre- and post-event, and during the event, management and crisis resolution.• London (August 2014): Responsibility for the Exhibit and Dealers' Hall. During the event, role involved floor management and co-ordination of a team in a high pressure environment.
