Deseret First Credit Union, a medium-sized credit Union with 11 branches in Utah, is expanding their services to their members to include a financial planning service. I worked with them to give them advice and counsel on how to establish the firm and how the program should be designed for their members. I was involved in every phase of setting up a financial planning business for the Credit Union. website design, marketing plan, product design, vendor selection, I created the ADV 1 and 2, which are the legal filings with the state, defined services to be offered, worked directly with CFO of the credit union and a legal team of attorneys to set up a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) and LLC, Deseret First Wealth Management.

Provide Retirement Planning and investment guidance to participants in 401a, 403b and 457b plans. I deliver investment guidance, and retirement planning in an effort to deliver high levels of client satisfaction and drive additional workplace plan consolidation and retail brokerage sales opportunities. Expertise ranges from basic retirement plan information to assessing and planning for retirement income needs, from portfolio reviews to managed account services. I strategize with management to enhance team performance and seek and implement effective practices to drive results.
