I first started working in aviation insurance back in 1988. Currently, I am responsible for sales operations across Marsh’s entire Aviation & Aerospace Practice, including the three core areas of business: Aerospace, Airlines and General Aviation. What I like most about my role is the ability to draw on an academic background in management and sociology, and then combine it with over 30 years of practical insurance experience. Over the course of my career, I have produced and/or serviced an extremely broad spectrum of fixed-wing and rotor-wing general aviation companies, airlines, airports, airport service providers, lease/finance risks, as well as both airframe and component manufacturers.Before joining Marsh, I spent six years with Willis in London where I ran a team of 30 people in their General Aviation Practice. Prior to that, I spent ten years with Willis in New York, where I was responsible for their US General Aviation business. And before that, I had four years of aviation account management and broking in New York with Aon / Alexander & Alexander. I began my insurance career with Alexander Howden in London, working on direct and reinsurance aviation claims.
