"Safe Haven Security is the second largest distributor of ADT security systems in the United Stated, with offices in 38 states and 600+ employees. It has a diverse workforce who rely on well-trained leaders located each field office to meet corporate goals. As Director of Human Resources I collaborate with all parties to cross traditional organizational boundaries, facilitating energetic synergy among groups to utilize human and capital resources. I set the strategic direction of training and professional development activities to identify, mentor, and monitor potential future corporate leaders. Beyond hiring, payroll, and benefits administration, I direct human capital investment policies, measuring current value and enhancing future worth through integrated workforce optimization. Key accomplishments include:● Formulate and execute plans with regard to professional development and training for approximately 400 senior and other staff to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. ● I developed and produced Safe Haven’s first-ever company Policy Manual, designed to mitigate risk and establish guidelines for executives, senior staff, and employees while assuring employees they will receive fair and equal treatment per published guidelines. ● Headed a team in the selection of PAYCOR, an online payroll and human resource solutions company, that significantly reduced onboarding and time-to-hire.

"DISYS is a global hybrid staffing and IT solutions company. In my position as HR Director, I helped senior management set the strategic direction of human capital, payroll, timesheets, and benefits in support of 3,000 employees nationwide. Additionally, I led a team of 40 geographically dispersed HR professionals in cost savings/risk analysis, mitigation initiatives, safety and facilities management, on/off-boarding, budget planning, management, and compensation.Key accomplishments:● I successfully represented DISYS is a $5 million wrongful termination suit in Federal Court. If the suit had not been dismissed during pre-trial, it had the potential of costing the company $20 million.● I was instrumental in the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of PeopleSoft HRIS payroll modules, enabling a cost savings of over $300,000 annually in staffing and processing costs.● Through collaboration with DISYS insurance broker, I was able to add significant benefit offerings, while maintaining cost efficiency.● Other significant areas of focus included: cost savings, mitigation initiatives, safety program implementations, facilities management, and compensation budget planning.
