Leads over 400 government and contractor personnel in providing a wide range of logistics service operations dispersed across three geographically separated locations at Hill AFB, Robins AFB, and Tinker AFB. Oversees the development, management, operation and maintenance of engineering data and technical order systems as well as engineering data acquisition and the management and distribution of engineering data and technical orders to worldwide customers. Works with AFMC Staff and Program Offices to secure model-based information, challenging contractor limits on use rights to enable better control of the technical baseline. Served as a member of the AF Sustainment Strategic Framework Sprint team for expertise in supply chain and product data sustainment; member of LOE 2, “Improve Enterprise Materiel Support”, tasked with improving materiel support to enhance readiness.

Plans, organizes and oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day support activities to the 2d Bomb Wing, HQ Air Force Global Strike Command, HQ Eighth Air Force, 307th Bomb Wing and 33 mission partners. Authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the commander in all areas of functional responsibility and represents the commander at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events. Provides higher level management direction to over 1,700 military and civilian employees through six subordinate squadron commanders. Provides direction, management and oversight to communication systems, base housing, fire protection, community services, law enforcement, security support, environmental protection, natural resource management, disaster preparedness, and personnel programs. Ensures effective oversight of support programs for over 11,000 military, civilian, contractor and reserve personnel, 25,000 retirees and 5,600 family members on a base of 22,000 acres. Protects, maintains and improves 949 facilities worth $4.5 billion on 22,000 acres. Ensures the effective execution and administration of over 1,400 contracts worth over $65M per year and the efficient management of Barksdale Air Force Base's $23M Government Purchase Card program. Oversees operation and maintenance of $250M in critical communications and command and control systems, as well as theater battle management systems, both in-garrison and deployable. Initiates and oversees effective and thorough coordination of highly complex issues across various functional areas within the wing and between Barksdale AFB and higher headquarters. Evaluates requirements for additional resources submitted by subordinate commanders, and balances organization needs with overall mission priorities and resource interests.

Oversees development of USTRANSCOM and Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) Strategy and transformational concepts enabling the JDDE to project national security capabilities, accurately sense the operating environment, and enable responsive support of Joint, U.S. government and Secretary of Defense-approved multinational and non-governmental requirements. Explores JDDE mobility concepts, force structure definitions, technologies, strategies and concepts to develop and fulfill forward presence and power projection requirements. Advocates for standardization and commonality for joint distribution capability development among the Services. Advises USTRANSCOM and JDDE senior leaders on distribution war games and experimentation requirements, particularly related to logistics operations and limitations. Serves as the Center's Senior plans and programs advisor for the integration of tactical processes with strategic planning processes to respond to changes in the supply chain. Develops and executes plans and programs that support the overall AFGLSC mission in the areas of readiness, planning, operational support, command and control, safety, POM, classified operations, Information Technology (IT) enterprise, knowledge management and Chief Information Officer responsibilities. Led all phases of world-wide supply chain operations in support of KC/KDC-10 Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) activities, forward supply locations, depot facilities and Contract Field Teams (CFT). As the Northrop Grumman Technical Services primary customer interface for supply chain activities, responsible for program technical oversight and day-to-day direction of subcontracted supply chain efforts to include KC/KDC-10 supply chain cost, schedule and technical performance. Led both internal and external supply chain teams and worked closely with personnel from operations, business management, contracts, subcontracts depot integration and engineering to execute program objectives and fulfill customer support expectations. Coordinated the preparation of sustainment and support proposals, business plans, proposal statements of work and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts, and created/established proactive milestones for master plans and schedules. Monitored adherence to support plans, identified program problems and delivered comprehensive/effective solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. As the single point of contact for supply chain enhancements between NGTS and the Air Force customer, fully supported Customer Program Management Reviews with government.
