Joined AccuRay Corporation in Columbus, Ohio immediately upon graduation from Miami University Paper Science program in 1970. Entry position was Systems/Applications Engineer for the AccuRay measurement and control systems on paper machines. Asked for and was given a home base in south after six month AccuRay training program. First residence was Birmingham, Alabama and then married six months after relocation to Alabama. Fond of travel and relocation so quickly moved to St Simons Island, Georgia; Costa Mesa, California; Chicago, Illinois and then back to Columbus, Ohio where we started a family. Served in Systems Engineering Management and Service Management positions all with AccuRay then acquired by Combustion Engineering and finally acquired by ABB. In early 80's, decided to depart from project/services role and accepted a sales position for a one year trial period. Have served in a sales role since this transition and have handled the International Paper account for past twenty years. This did necessitate another relocation back to Alabama in mid-90's to serve International Paper Corporate Technology and Purchasing Center in Mobile. Ironically a few years later, International Paper moved their Technology/Purchasing Center to Cincinnati, Ohio so our family made the return relocation back to Ohio.
