DRG has grown from 2 to over 950 employees at 130 sites globally with over 9000% growth in 22 years and numerous awards for excellence. In 2013 Busey was named to the Oklahoma City University Business and Commerce Hall of Honor. He serves as a Trustee at OCU. He was a partner with large law firms in Commercial, Corporate, Federal Regulation, and Native American Law. He has taught over 150 CLE seminars and classes on contracting, business and leadership. He is an accomplished public speaker and has had columns published in numerous newspapers. He was an adjunct professor at OCU School of Law, the Distinguished Law Professor at OCU, adjunct at Meinders School of Business MBA program, and Professor Lecturerer at American University, Washington, DC and is a professor lecturer in OU's Masters of Aerospace and Defense program. With spouse Cathy Busey, they contribute to church, community, arts and music. They founded and sponsor El Sistema Oklahoma, an after school children's program in music for social change for over 240 underserved students.
